Sigma Group Profile

Sigma Technology is a division of the Sigma Group which was formed in 1992 by the merger of CDP Sigma and Collins Limited. The latter was a long established family printing and stationery business (founded in 1928), whilst the former was a product of the merger of CDP and Sigma in 1998 plus the purchase of  MR Taylor Limited in 1989, the Islands’ Konica photocopier and fax suppliers.

CDP, founded in 1971 was the first computer bureau in the Channel Islands, and Sigma was founded in 1977 to provide computer engineering and maintenance services. Both companies developed their business by providing a total range of computer services to their clients.

The Sigma Group is a privately owned, independent company which has the backing of 3i (Europe’s biggest Venture Capital company) allowing the Group to react and adapt to the ever changing business environment that we live in.

Employing  over 140 staff across four divisions in both Islands (50+ in Guernsey) the Sigma Group has an annual turnover in excess of £16M by offering a comprehensive range of business services to our customer base that include financial services, legal, government as well as commercial and eGaming organisations.
